Why the squadron is important to the Air Force mission: 71st Medical Support Squadron is the support arm for the Vance Clinic. We provide all aspects of support to include finance, logistics, beneficiary support, readiness, information technology, diagnostics and therapeutics. We ensure our providers have everything they need for world class healthcare, enabling all Airmen to fly, fight and win.
Command philosophy: Take care of yourself, mentally, physically and spiritually; take care of your troops; take care of the mission -- and do it all with integrity -- T3I.
Goals for new position: Build on the already outstanding reputation of the 71st MDSS, leave a legacy of excellence and have a blast doing it!
