Cherokee Strip chapter of military comptrollers hosting luncheon, July 14

The Cherokee Strip Chapter of the American Society of Military Comptrollers will host a luncheon to install new officers at 11:30 a.m., July 14, at the Vance Collocated Club at Vance AFB, Okla.

Col. Charles E. Fiquett, director of Financial Management and Comptroller at Headquaters, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas, will be the guest speaker.

The society is a non-profit educational and professional organization for people, both military and civilian, involved in the overall field of military comptroller.

The luncheon is open to all of Team Vance. Attendees have the option of going through the regular lunch-buffet line, salad-bar line or ordering from the quick service line.

Officers to be installed at the luncheon are: Dianna DeLany as president and chairman of Awards and Scholarships; David Gindlesberger as 1st vice president and chairman of Memberships and Certifications; Mary Sproul as 2nd vice president and chairman of Programs; Mary Loveless as 3rd vice president and chairman of Historian Programs and Publicity; Master Sgt. Erica Daniels as chapter secretary; and 1st Lt. Nathan Smith as chapter treasurer.

Membership to the ASMC is open to military, Department of Defense civilians and contractors who work in financial management and acquisition fields.
