VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --
It's not every day that Vance Airmen get a chance to meet a world renown figure, but that is exactly what happened to four members of the Silver Talon Honor Guard.
Senior Airman Christina Sullivan, Senior Airman Ray Greene, Senior Airman Calvin Erkens and Airman 1st Class Chelan Carr met Ross Perot, the third-party candidate in the 1992 presidential race.
The Airmen performed a prisoner-of-war and missing-in-action table ceremony for the 2014 Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame Induction, which Perot attended.
A POW/MIA ceremony is performed before formal military gatherings. Honor Guard members will set up a POW/MIA table while narrator explains the significance of each item on the table.
