Past meets present

(Photo by Frank McIntyre) An old AT-6 Texan is towed past a new T-6A Texan II in preparation for the new version’s arrival ceremony at 10 a.m. today in Hangar 170. All base people are encouraged to attend. The event includes a T-6 demonstration and static displays. The demonstration team performs first, followed by a T-37 Tweet and a T-6A Texan II dissimilar formation. No parking is available at Hangar 170. People are encouraged to either walk or arrive at the Vance Club for bus transport. The bus departs from the club at 9:40 a.m. and leaves Hangar 170 for the return trip at 11:10 a.m.
