Short term visitor pass (30 days or less)

For all visitor passes not exceeding thirty days, the visitor and sponsor can meet at the VCC. Please ensure the visitor brings a valid identification document (driver’s license, identification card, passport, etc.) and if operating their own vehicle, the vehicle’s registration and insurance. If the sponsor will not be present at the VCC, a short term visitor pass request may be emailed from a “.mil” account to the VCC within three (3) duty days of the visit and must include the following information:

  • Sponsor’s full name, date of birth and DoD ID number

  • Visitor’s full legal name, date of birth, identity document (driver’s license, state identification card, passport, etc.), state of issue, and a color copy or picture of the identity document.

The visitor must pre-enroll in the Defense Biometric Identification System at the following link:  https://dbids-global.dmdc.mil/home/ and bring either their alpha-numeric or the QR code provided, as well as the original identity document.

Long term visitor pass (31+ days)

Contractors, school parents, childcare parents and long-term visitors may receive a DBIDS card. Visitors must have a completed long-term pass application and may meet their sponsor at the VCC for pass issuance. Additionally, the sponsor may email the completed pass application to the VCC with 14 calendar of the visit. The visitor must meet at the VCC for pass issuance with the following documents:

  • Valid identity document

  • If operating a vehicle, the vehicle’s valid registration and proof of insurance

*Vance AFB does not accept other installation issued DBIDS cards for base access. ** Non-U.S. Citizens will have to show Proof of Resident Alien Card, Employment Authorization Card and Social Security Card in addition to the documents listed above.**

DBIDS Pre-Enrollment Website

Visitors requesting access to base may use the DBIDS Pre-Enrollment Website to establish a guest profile. You can go to the website at https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/.

*NOTE: This profile does not grant the guest any base access privileges, but it does significantly reduce the time needed to process a pass request when the guest and sponsor come to the VCC.

Alternatively scan the QR code provided to be transferred to the DBIDS Pre-Enrollment Website. When completed visitors should print the [age or screenshot it on their mobile device and present it to the Visitor Control Center personnel.

Trusted Traveler

Trusted traveler (escorted entry) allows personnel desiring access to the installation without an installation access pass. Trusted traveler is defined as a uniformed service member or government employee with a valid CAC, a military retiree, or an adult dependent over the age of 16 to present their identification for verification while simultaneously vouching for any vehicle occupants (up to 5). The cardholder in the vehicle is entirely responsible for the actions of all occupants in their vehicle and for the meeting all security requirements for escort as established by the Installation Commander. Cardholders will not leave their guests at any time while on the installation. Trusted Travel DOES NOT APPLY TO FOREIGN VISITORS! At any time, the installation entry controller may request identification documents from all occupants. TRUSTED TRAVELER IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. ALL VISITORS MUST RECEIVE A VISITOR PASS FROM SECURITY FORCES.

Entry Authority Letters (EAL)

EAL’s are completed by individuals with sponsorship authority and are requesting unescorted installation access for five or more personnel. EALs must be submitted to the Visitor Control Center no less than three (3) duty days prior to the start of the event. In accordance with the Vance AFB Integrated Defense Plans, EALs must:

  • Not be valid for more than 30 days

  • Have a minimum of five personnel listed

  • List visitors in alphabetical order

  • Contain visitor’s full, legal name

  • Include location, time and date of event
