Col. Lidia Ilcus, commander of the 71st Medical Group at Vance Air Force Base, was the first Team Vance Airman to receive the coronavirus vaccination, Jan. 14. The base received 200 doses for phase one of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended vaccination plan, which focuses on healthcare workers and other first responders like firemen and security forces.
