VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Team Vance members always have good stories to tell when they return from deployments.

Master Sgt. Canadra Tillman will be no exception. And she has a very special visual aid – a coin from the 18th chief master sergeant of the Air Force.

Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth Wright and Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen Wilson, recently paid a visit to Tillman’s deployed location. While there, Wright presented Tillman his coin, and Wilson congratulated her.

“I’m definitely honored,” said Tillman.

She took advantage of a good opportunity during the senior leaders’ visit. “I asked a few questions about uniforms, and of course, enlisted professional military education,” said Tillman, who serves as a first sergeant at Vance.
