Ghostriders have a new commander

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Lt. Col. James Muniz accepted command of the 71st Operations Support Squadron during a change of command ceremony held April 20 in Hangar 170 at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

Lt. Col. Michael Kirkpatrick relinquished command of the Ghostriders during the ceremony, officiated by Col. Paul Johnson, the 71st Operations Group commander.

The 71st OSS provides airfield operations, air traffic control and weather support for pilot training at Vance.
