Volunteers from the 71st Mission Support Group hosted the monthly Singles' International Gourmet Meal Opportunity in the base Community Chapel Activity Center, Jan. 28.

The 33 volunteers served 136 dinners putting their spin on this month's theme, New Year's traditions.

On the menu was meat loaf, lemon chicken tenders, spaghetti, black-eyed peas, vegetarian pizza, salad and various homemade desserts.

"The good thing about having SIGMO during a night-flying week is being able to support the people working late to ensure mission success by providing them with a nice meal," said Chaplain (Capt.) Jon Bravinder, a chaplain with the 71st Flying Training Wing Chapel.

Each month, SIGMO provides a free meal to single Airmen and families with deployed spouses.
