April's theme was "home cooking," and the menu included Salisbury steak, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn, tossed salad and a variety of desserts. The Vance Chapel sponsors SIGMO, and different units and organizations prepare and serve the meal between 4:45 and 7 p.m. on the last Monday of the month. April's SIGMO was hosted by the Vance Top 3, a service organization composed of senior NCOs. Fourteen volunteers from the Top 3 cooked the meals and served the more than 140 folks who stopped by the CCAC for a sit-down or carry-out meal. The next SIGMO is scheduled for Tuesday, May 29, due to the Memorial Day holiday. For more information, contact the Vance Chapel, 213-7211.
