The Vance Health and Wellness Center is hosting a health and wellness fair in the Fitness Center gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 13.

Vance is teaming up with its Enid neighbors for this year's health and wellness fair. Approximately 40 vendors, both on-base and from Enid, will showcase the programs and services available to Team Vance members.

Free food and door prizes will be available to attendees.

During the fair some vendors will feature 10 to 15 minute presentations on various topics from sleep health to the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, said Kellie Jensen, an exercise physiologist at the HAWC and one of the fair coordinators.

"The range of resources and tools available at the different vendors will cover a wide array of health and wellness topics so there should be something for everyone," said Joel Urdang, the health promotion program coordinator for the HAWC.

"We want people to get the information and resources they need so they can meet their behavioral health goals, whatever those goals may be," said Urdang.

The HAWC needs volunteers to help with the fair. For more information, call Jenny Hughes at 213-6033.
