Mission contributions:  Major Yarbrough is the 5th FTS T-38-flight director of operations. As a supervisor-of-flying instructor, he voluntarily filled in for a scheduled SOF, whose crew rest was broken due to the weather crisis action team recall. Major Yarbrough personally drove around the airfield with the airfield manager, Bob Roff. His work helped ensure the safety of the ramp and airfield when flying operations resumed. Major Yarbrough was named the best reserve instructor pilot by the T-38 students in Class 11-04.
