Airman Tiffany Johnston, a logistics planner with the 71st Logistics Readiness Squadron, is the Wing Airman of the Month for September.

From Los Angeles, Calif., Airman Johnston has been in the Air Force for nine months and Vance is her first assignment.

To become Airman of the Month, Airman Johnston was first nominated by her squadron. She then met a board composed of one senior NCO, an NCO and the previous Airman of the Month.

The board asked her questions on specific military related areas and current events. Airman Johnston was scored on her responses, dress and appearance, communication skills and professionalism.

As the Wing Airman of the Month, Airman Johnston will receive a personal visit from the 71st Flying Training Wing commander and the command chief; a one-day pass; a certificate of recognition; AAFES and Services coupons and a one-night stay in a distinguished visitor suite at base lodging.
