Mission accomplishments:  Captain Marchand facilitated the Class 11-05 surge by triple-turning -- three flights a day -- multiple times as well as double-turning on consecutive weekends to ensure the class track-selected on time. His efforts directly contributed to bringing the class back from a massive 10-day timeline deficit. During these surge operations, Captain Marchand demonstrated his airmanship during a compound emergency with a generator failure and canopy light. He maintained balance between the loss of electrical equipment, maintaining formation integrity and safety of flight, all while continuing flight instruction.
