Warrior of the Week – Airman 1st Class Kaitlyn Eaton Published May 5, 2010 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Name: Airman 1st Class Kaitlyn Eaton Duty: Aerospace Physiology journeyman, 71st Medical Operations Squadron Hometown: Bristol, Maine Favorite PT regimen: Running long distance Mission accomplishments: Airman Eaton scored a perfect 100 on her physical training test with a 9:48 run time. Last year, she was struggling to score 78. She has reduced her abdominal circumference by 10 inches and has motivated her fellow Airmen to work towards warrior fitness. Airman Eaton finished the half-marathon at the Oklahoma City Memorial Run April 25. She completed the 13.1 mile run in 1 hour, 45.52 minutes, placing 73rd among 4,548 female finishers. She has motivated six flight members to register for the local Red Dirt half-marathon. She stepped up to run the academics section while the NCOIC was at the NCO Academy. She selflessly dedicated personal time to assist six student pilots with airsickness management. Airman Eaton completed six hours towards her Community College of the Air Force degree this semester while also volunteering eight hours to the Special Olympics and eight hours to the Women's Wellness Fair.
