Angela Shelton scheduled to speak on surviving sexual abuse, April 9 Published March 25, 2010 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Angela Shelton, actress and nationally known speaker, will give a presentation on triumphing over childhood sexual abuse at 10 a.m., April 9, in the Base Auditorium, Bldg. 550. "Angela is incredibly humorous and approachable and I am thrilled that we were able to book her here," said Sheryl McMullen, Vance's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program coordinator. "Of all the people I've met in the field the past several years, Angela is the one who absolutely knocks my socks off," said Ms. McMullen. "Listening to her is a feel-good moment." Ms. Shelton has appeared on the Oprah show and has produced two videos on keeping kids safe in conjunction with John Walsh of "America's Most Wanted" television show.
