The annual Vance family-holiday party, Brunch with Santa, will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, in Hangar 170. All Team Vance military members, civilians, contractors and their families are invited.

There will be free food, games, crafts and holiday fun for the entire family. Santa Claus will visit the hangar so children can share they Christmas wish list with him.

This year's western theme will paint the picture of holidays on the open range, and includes hay rides, pictures with Santa and caroling for the entire family.

"Every year this event encompasses the excitement and spirit children have for Christmas and winter holidays," said Kate Holdeman, Youth programs coordinator with CSC Applied Technologies and the Brunch with Santa organizer. "The hangar will be transformed into a holiday wonderland and is truly a magical event for children and parents."

Gifts and prizes, including children's toys, local business gift certificates, jewelry and more will be given out.

No registration is needed for Brunch with Santa. Santa will arrive in style shortly after 11 a.m. Attendees should dress for the weather because the hangar doors may be partially open.

"Bring your family, children and, most of all, your imagination," said Ms. Holdeman.

Brunch with Santa is free of charge through the donations of the following sponsors: Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse, Wendy's, Sugar Rush, Starbucks, Sonic, Dr. J.C.
