Zach Tinnin Duty: Senior programmer and T-6 instructor pilot, 8th Fighter Training Squadron Hometown: Sweetwater, Texas Favorite PT regimen: Weight training and running Mission contributions: As senior programmer, Captain Tinnin built and managed the T-6's 44,000 flying-hour program with 100 percent on-time graduation in addition to being ahead of the training timeline as a squadron despite 83 percent manning. He contributed to A Flight with the second most IP hours in the last month and passed six of six students on checkrides. Captain Tinnin organized and executed three visits to the U.S. Air Force Academy, mentoring more than 120 cadets on Vance's mission to train student pilots. He led a four-ship flyover for the Enid Veterans Day parade with minimum notification and represented the 71st Flying Training Wing at Fleet Week for a two-day air show.
