Readiness Center hosting Year of the Air Force Family events

To celebration the Year of the Air Force Family, the Airman & Family Readiness Center is hosting a week full of activities to support Air Force families. 

On Nov. 1, All Saints Family Celebration will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Community Chapel Activity Center, Bldg. 528. There will be free food, crafts, games and entertainment for military families. For more information, call 213-7211. 

On Nov. 3, Family Fun Night will be held at the Library, Bldg. 314, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Families with a deployed family member are invited to hear stories while enjoying snacks and crafts. For more information, call 213-7368. 

On Nov. 4, a course on developing successful relationship skills for couples will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Mental Health, Bldg. 816. This course is for all married, engaged and dating couples. For more information, call 213-7419. 

On Nov. 5, Operation Cookie Cutter will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the A&FRC, Bldg. 314. Volunteer are needed to gather cookies and goodies to pack and ship to all deployed Team Vance members for the holidays. For more information, call 213-6288. 

On Nov. 5, a Family Preparation Concert will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Vance Collocated Club. There will be a deployment preparation discussion followed by a concert performed by base teens. Free food and door prizes are included. For more information, call 213-6330.
