Pruitt selected Wing Airman of the Month for September

Senior Airman Kanita Pruitt, a customer service journeyman with the 71st Force Support Squadron's Manpower and Personnel Flight, is the Vance Airman of the Month for September. 

From Fort Worth, Texas, Airman Pruitt has been in the Air Force for three years and Vance is her second assignment. She came here from Spangdahlem AB, Germany.

To become Airman of the Month, Airman Pruitt was first nominated by her squadron. She then met a board composed of one senior NCO, an NCO and the previous Airman of the Month selectee. 

The board asked her questions on specific military related areas along with current event issues. She was scored on her responses, dress and appearance, communication skills and professionalism. 

As the Wing Airman of the Month, Airman Pruitt will receive a personal visit from the wing commander and command chief, a one-day pass, a certificate of recognition, AAFES and Services coupons and a one-night stay in a distinguished visitor suite at base lodging.
