Bowling center offers discount games, food during appreciation week

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  The Vance Bowling Center is holding the annual Customer Appreciation Week Aug. 22-29. The week-long event offers customers a little fun, discounted bowling and special food prices. 

"This is one of my favorite bowling events of the year," said Ken Broder, a CSC Applied Technologies LLC, bowling center supervisor. "We are going to have a fun time all week long, and I hope everyone takes advantage of the great discounts." 

Discounts customers can receive include, but are not limited to, 50 cent games before 6 p.m., free bowling with the purchase of specified meals and $1 bowling on the weekends. 

The customer appreciation week will culminate with an invitational adult handicap-bowling tournament Aug. 26, and an invitational youth handicap-bowling tournament Aug. 29. Awards and prizes will provided. 

Local companies sponsoring the event include Tinker Federal Credit Union, Earthgrains, Coca-Cola, Happy Snacks, Pope Distributing Company and Advance Food Company.
