Shawn Brundzo Duty: Military Working Dog trainer with the 71st Security Forces Squadron Hometown: Shippensburg, Pa. Favorite PT regimen: Running Mission contributions: Staff Sgt. Shawn Brundzo coordinated major command level support for presidential inauguration to deploy a Vance military working dog team. He spearheaded narcotics detector dog training with Enid Police Department working dog teams. Sergeant Brundzo set up scenarios for detection and patrol training and assisted with civilian canine teams yearly narcotics certification. He fixed a manpower issue, keeping Vance on target to receive additional working dogs within three months. Sergeant Brundzo took a dog team to an Enid apartment complex to help with a suspicious device. The team did a sweep of the apartment complex and the surrounding area for secondary devices.
