Local meeting explains new way to do business with Air Force

The 71st Comptroller-Contracting Squadron is hosting a meeting in Enid Sept. 10 for local businesses and industry associations to learn how an Air Force wide initiative will change doing business with the Air Force.

The meeting will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10, in rooms 127 and 129 at Northwestern Oklahoma State University Enid Campus, located at 2929 East Randolph.

The initiative, Installation Acquisition Transformation, will modify contracting business practices at the Continental United States Installation level to create a more efficient acquisition process.

Attendees will receive information about the opportunities and changes the transformation brings to installation-level procurement.
