71st MSG welcomes new commander

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --
Col. Dwayne LaHaye assumed command of the 71st Mission Support Group from Col. Christopher Daniels during a ceremony June 26 at Hangar 199.
Before assuming command of the MSG, LaHaye was the budget division chief at headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
LaHaye has operational and joint budget experience having served tours at air staff, combatant command, major command and wing level.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a master's in international relations from Troy State University.
LaHaye's military decorations include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal and an Air Force Commendation Medal.
