T-6 squadron prepares fajitas for Vance single Airmen

The 8th Flying Training Squadron fed 220 people during the February Singles' International Gourmet Meal Opportunity, Feb. 24, at the Community Chapel Activity Center on base.

Thirty volunteers from the 8th FTS served brisket, chili, fajitas, jalapeno cornbread and assorted homemade desserts.

SIGMO is hosted by the Vance Chapel and operated by unit volunteers the last Monday of each month from 4:45 until 5:45 p.m. Singles, unaccompanied Air Force members and the families of Airmen who are deployed or TDY are welcome.

The organizer for the February SIGMO was 1st Lt. Kristopher Sherman, a T-6A Texan II instructor pilot.
