VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Ninety-six Team Vance members shared a Super Bowl tailgate menu Monday evening during the monthly Singles’ International Gourmet Meal Opportunity in the Community Chapel Activity Center here.

Sponsored this month by the Vance Chapel and the 71st Mission Support Group, the diners feasted on lemon-pepper chicken, bratwurst, hot dogs, hamburgers, coleslaw, potato salad and lots and lots of donated desserts.

Meal preparation was handled by volunteers from the 71st Force Support Squadron using the activity center’s kitchen.

Attendance was down from recent SIGMO gatherings, but the Super Bowl crowd seemed more social, said Tech. Sgt. Tony Eclavea with the Chapel staff.

“When they finished eating, the Airmen stuck around for conversation,” he said.

SIGMO is a monthly free meal for Vance single Airmen of all ranks, unaccompanied Airmen and families of deployed or TDY Airmen.
