Master Sgt. Dawn Striker-Allen, oboist with the Band of Mid-America from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., explains her instrument and the musical scale to students at Eisenhower Elementary School in Enid Tuesday. Colonels' roast

The colonels were honorary firefighters for the day and experienced dousing an 1,800-degree aircraft fire at the airfield rescue firefighting training facility.
