Col VanHerck fini flight

Col. Glen VanHerck is wet down with a fire hose by his daughter, Molly, holding the nozzle, and his wife, Marilyn, when he returned from his fini flight Friday, June 11. Colonel VanHerck, who served as both the 71st Operations Group commander, and the 71st Flying Training Wing vice commander during his assignment at Vance, took his last flight here in a T-6A Texan II assigned to the 8th Flying Training Squadron.
