Firefighting 101: Vance Fire Department heats things up for wing leaders
(Photo by Capt. Tony Wickman) Responding to the scene, the fire department begins the “fight” by using its roof and bumper turrets to dispense 1,000 gallons of water and firefighting agent. The trucks help clear an entry path for firefighters to enter the burning aircraft.
