Safety Day Expo

Vance AFB’s Safety Day Expo featured safety as the number one priority for the base. Master Sgt. Edward Daniels from the Force Support Squadron is fitted with a helmet by Tech. Sgt. Jon Cabatit before attempting the tricycle obstacle course. He is wearing “beer goggles” to simulate the effects of slower reflexes and impaired vision caused by alcohol consumption. The Safety Day Expo took the place of a traditional safety briefing and was open 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, May 22, in Hangar 170 to kick-off the 101 Critical Days of Summer. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Brian Hill)
