Safety Day Expo

Vance AFB’s Safety Day Expo had a booth that displayed the effects of alcohol on vision and coordination. Lt. Col. Daniel Fischer from the 5th Squadron is onboard the tricycle, swerving to avoid hitting more cones in the obstacle course while wearing “beer goggles” used to impair vision, simulating alcohol consumption. The Safety Day Expo took the place of a traditional safety briefing and was open 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, May 22, in Hangar 170 to kick-off the 101 Critical Days of Summer. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt.
