Spring Fling
Airman 1st Class Daquan Johnson, a 71st Medical Operations Squadron flight medicine technician, attempts to catch a flying disk while wearing “drunk goggles” at Vance’s Annual Spring Fling held in the club April 8. During Spring Fling, vendors from the local community and representatives from different services on base, set up booths to talk with attendees about the services they offer. The drunk goggles simulate how vision is impaired while a person is intoxicated and their purpose is to demonstrate the lack of control someone experiences while driving drunk. This year, attendees enjoyed free sloppy joes during the event. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Frank Casciotta)
