Team Vance's newest Honorary Commanders where welcomed during a ceremony Jan. 24 at the Vance Collocated Club. The Honorary Commanders program takes leaders from the civilian community around a base and teams them up with squadron, group and wing commanders for one year.The honorary commanders attend base tours and official squadron and wing functions and get a close up look at how Vance Air Force Base impacts the global Air Force mission, and the local Northwest Oklahoma community.
