Mission Essential – Eric Ruiz Garcia, 71st Medical Group Published July 10, 2013 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- I am Senior Airman Eric Ruiz Garcia. I make sure the gears that keep the 71st Medical Group going are well oiled. What I do is as fun as it is important. I review enlisted performance reports and officer performance reports, making sure they look sharp. People here work hard. I want to make sure they are properly recognized for their accomplishments. I manage medical group instructions, commander's call topics and appointment letters. Doing my job right is important to me because it is an essential part of developing professional Airmen. I am mission essential -- and proud of it.
