Team Vance Airmen take top honors in ALS Class 13-E

Four Team Vance Airmen graduated with Airman Leadership Class 13-E, June 21, at Altus Air Force Base, Okla.

Senior Airman Layton Edwards with the 71st Medical Support Squadron, earned the John Levitow Award, presented to the student demonstrating outstanding leadership and scholastic qualities.

Senior Airman Justin Jay Hawkins with the 71st Operations Support Squadron, earned the Commandant Leadership Award, presented to the student displaying all the characteristics of an effective leader.

Also from Vance AFB were Senior Airman Maria Aguilar Schumann, 25th Flying Training Squadron, and Senior Airman Justin Hains, 71st Security Forces Squadron.

Senior Airman William Ryan with the 97th Communications Squadron at Altus AFB, earned the Academic and Distinguished Graduate Awards.

Two other graduates with Class 13-E were Senior Airman Keith McCash, 138th Maintenance Squadron, Tulsa, Okla., and Senior Airman Michael Murray, 931th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan.
