Mission essential - Amy Snyder, Airman & Family Readiness Center Published April 2, 2013 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Tech. Sgt. Amy Snyder is the Readiness NCO at the Airman & Family Readiness Center at Vance Air Force Base. She ensures Airmen and their families are prepared for the challenges of separation during a military deployment. Snyder explains what resources are available to them and offers advice on financial planning, taking care of pets, cars and family care plans. She tries to help alleviate some of the stress that goes hand-in-hand with deployments. At any given time there are at least 40 Team Vance Airmen deployed around the world. Snyder's work helps Vance Airmen meet Air Force goals without worrying about their homes thousands of miles away. She is essential to the 71st Flying Training Wing's mission of deploying combat ready warriors.
