Vance Airmen sweep awards for Airman Leadership School Class 12-H Published Oct. 24, 2012 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Team Vance Airmen swept the awards during the Oct. 19 graduation ceremony for Airman Leadership School Class 12-H at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. Senior Airman Kevin Ellis, 71st Communications Squadron, received the John L. Levitow Award, the highest honor presented to an enlisted graduate of professional military training. Ellis maintains airfield systems, to include navigational aids, air-to-ground radios and weather equipment, with the 71st CS. Senior Airman James Ward, 71st Operations Support Squadron, received the Distinguished Graduate and Academic Achievement awards. Senior Airman Remmecya Lavant, 71st Security Forces Squadron, received the Commandant Award. Also graduating with Class 12-H was Senior Airman Richard Ficarelli, 71st SFS. Other graduates from Class 12-H, all assigned to Altus AFB units, were: Senior Airmen Roberto Gonzalez, Sean Biddle, Marvin Contreras, Erin Vargas, Trevor Brown, Angelic Ancho, Robert Spellman, Michael Coghill, Damion McCall, Elena Hughes, Balmore Solorioguardado and Nicole Clark.
