August SIGMO provides tailgate menu for diners

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Volunteers from the 71st Operations Support Squadron filled the bellies of 202 people with hotdogs and hamburgers grilled outside the Community Chapel Activity Center during the Singles' International Gourmet Meal Opportunity held here Aug. 27.

This month, 37 volunteers from the 71st OSS hosted the meal that featured a "Tailgate party" theme. Diners were encouraged to wear clothing promoting their favorite sports teams.

The menu included grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, pasta and garden salads, nachos with toppings, vegetarian chili and a variety of desserts.

SIGMO provides a free meal every month for single Airmen and families with deployed spouses.
