The Partner in the Sky title is a lifelong appointment that honors Vance supporters who go above and beyond to support the base and Team Vance personnel. The Honorary Commander program brings community leaders of varying backgrounds together in partnership with commanders at Vance for one-year appointments. The goal of the program is to foster a greater understanding of Vance AFB operations by members of Enid and surrounding communities.
