Smith, Dominguez join victim advocate team at Vance Published June 6, 2012 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Staff Sgt. Carrissa Smith and Tena Dominguez, the latest graduates of the Victim Advocate program here were presented certificates of training completion June 5 in the Vance Sexual Assault Prevention & Response office. Smith and Dominguez, both with the 71st Medical Group, were presented their certificates by Col. Roger Witek, the 71st Flying Training Wing vice commander. He also thanked them for dedicating themselves to an important program. Current advocates also attended the ceremony in support of their newest members. Victim advocates assist victims of sexual assaults and undergo 40 hours of instruction to receive their certificates.
