2011 Combined Federal Campaign kicks off at Vance Published Oct. 4, 2011 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 2011 Combined Federal Campaign at Vance Air Force Base kicked off Oct. 3 and will run through Nov. 10. Since 1971, CFC has been the sole authorized workplace charitable campaign for the federal service. There are more than 20,000 charities a contributor can give to, including organizations in the Enid area. "This year's campaign will be from 3 Oct to 10 Nov," said Capt. Lewis Taylor, the 71st Flying Training Wing CFC coordinator this year. "Our goal is to make 100 percent contact will all active duty and civilian workers on Vance and give them the opportunity to participate." Making a contribution to CFC is a snap. Unit representatives will be passing out donation slips and a list of charities. Donations can be made in a lump sum or by a payroll allotment throughout the year. A complete list of charities is also available at www.cfc-centralok.org. For more information and to make a donation, contact your CFC representative: 71st Medical Group - Capt.
