Three SFS members named Warriors of the Week

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  Three members of the 71st Security Forces Squadron were named Warriors of the Week for their work in completing the first pre-deployment training class for the squadron.

David Harris, the unit training manager with the 71st SFS, is from Waukomis, Okla. Tech. Sgt. Gary Eyster Jr., from Enid, Okla., and Tech Sgt. Matthew Bowling, from Freesoil, Mich., are both assigned to the Military Working Dog section.

The men conducted 36 hours of training over a three-day period despite 95-plus degree temperatures. The training included patrolling, ambushes and danger crossings.

The team added to the realism of the training with special simulated munitions.
