More than 1,000 cookies were baked and decorated for delivery to the two enlisted dormitories at Vance this year during the Officers Spouses Club and Enlisted Spouses Group Airmen Cookie Drive.

The cookies, mostly sugar cookies, were baked and brought to the Community Chapel Activity Center Dec. 13. Other varieties of cookies were also prepared and baked at the CCAC. They all were decorated, bagged and prepared for delivery to Bldgs. 421 and 423 the morning of Dec. 14.

"We will deliver the cookies Tuesday morning," said Frank Seitz, vice president of the OSC and husband of Capt. Kristen Seitz with the 71st Medical Operations Squadron.

Members of the two spouses clubs and spouses of the 71st Flying Training Wing senior leadership will leave the cookies in individual rooms for the residents to find, he said.

The decorating and bagging took place throughout the day Dec. 13.
