CFC off and running at Vance Published Oct. 20, 2010 By Senior Airman Wes Carter 71st Flying Trainnig Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 2010 Combined Federal Campaign is in full swing at Vance as it passed the halfway mark Friday, Oct. 15. The campaign has brought in more than $21,000 in donations, almost a quarter of the way to Vance's goal of $90,000. "We still have a long way to go to meet our goal," said Capt. Brian Shanley, the 71st Flying Training Wing CFC representative. "We have made good progress through the halfway point. This is a pretty typical result based on previous campaigns."
