Captain Cummins, Lieutenant Smith and Sergeant Henson prepared and orchestrated the POW/MIA ceremony Friday, Sept. 17. The ceremony, which took place at the flag pole outside Bldg. 500, included a bagpiper, 150 American flags provided by the Patriot Guard Riders, a missing man formation flown by T-38s from the 25th Flying Training Squadron and a visit by former Prisnor of War Francis Hoad of Enid, Okla. The ceremony honored some of the nation's most respected heroes. More than 200,000 American soldiers have been listed as a POW or MIA since World War I.
