Mission contributions:  Sunday, March 7, a new member of the 71st Medical Support Squadron, was having a medical emergency in base housing. Sergeant Whaley was contacted, and went to the member's home. He assessed the situation, got the assistance of a neighbor to watch the ill wife and children and took the member to the emergency room. He returned to the member's home to make sure the wife and children were okay and see if they needed anything. Sergeant Whaley reacted as a Wingman to a fellow Airman and his family in a time of need.
