Special-duty recruiting team coming to Vance, March 11 Published March 2, 2010 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Air Education and Training Command's special-duty recruiting team will visit Vance at 8:30 a.m., March 11, at the Professional Development Center auditorium, Bldg. 455. The team will be looking for Airmen to become Air Force recruiters, Air Force Military Training instructors, Military Training leaders and Professional Military Education instructors. The team will brief on all aspects of special-duty assignments and be available to answer questions about these challenging and rewarding careers. Spouses of potential special-duty applicants are encouraged to attend the briefing. Airmen 1st class with at least 24 months time in service through technical sergeants with less than 17 years total active federal military service are eligible for special-duty assignments.
