Reporting times normal Feb. 1, utility uniforms for exercise weeks Published Jan. 31, 2010 By 71 Flying Training Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The uniform of the day at Vance for Monday, Feb. 1, and Monday, Feb. 8, is the utility uniform: Air Battle Uniform (ABU), Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) or Flight Suit, not Blues. February 1 marks the start of a two-week exercise block on base. Duty reporting tImes are back to normal, but everyone traveling to the base, or off-base is advised to allow extra travel time as well as extra breaking distance between cars. Area road conditions are still slippery and icy in spots; use extra care when walking outdoors or driving. The National Prayer Breakfast is rescheduled for 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the Vance Collocated Club. The Annual Awards Banquet has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 5. Additionally, the Assignment Night originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5, will now be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4. The Security Forces Firing Range Ribbon Cutting and Wing Recognition ceremonies have been postponed, as have the Friday Newcomers Brief and Professional Development Group trip to Oklahoma City. Those Team Vance members able to attend the rescheduled Annual Awards Banquet Friday, Feb. 5, should respond to an e-invitation slated to be sent Monday morning, Feb. 1 by the close of business, Tuesday, Feb. 2.
