Bobbie White Vance Airman & Family Readiness Center VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Vance Combined Federal Campaign is in full swing. With thousands of international, national and local charities to choose from, it isn't hard to find several worthy of your support. You may have heard about "The Friends of Vance Families" CFC organization and wondered about the Vance connection. It is a local CFC organization that gives 100 percent of all donations it receives back to the Vance community. Donated funds help support programs like Operation Kids, Hearts Apart, Spouse Appreciation Day, Retiree Appreciation Day, Single International Gourmet Meals Opportunity, Military Child Appreciation Month and Operation Cookie Cutter. The Vance CFC will run through Nov. 6. Donations can be made through your unit CFC representative. A list of those representatives is available through the "All Aboard" link on the Vance Web site home page, www.vance.af.mil. CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally. CFC raises millions of dollars each year. Giving is the most important step in helping support local or international organizations. Your donation goes a long way. This is the year to share your prosperity.
