Commissary holds case-lot sale Sept. 18-20 Published Sept. 2, 2009 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Vance Commissary will hold a case-lot sale Sept. 18, 19 and 20 during normal operating hours. Products in the sale range from canned goods, beverages, toilet paper, paper towels, produce, fresh meat, seafood, pet supplies and cleaning and laundry products. "Our customers will save between 35 and 50 percent during the sale," said Sheila Gilbert, the Vance commissary manager. "Some of the manufacturers even provide coupons on top of the savings," she said. Approximately 180 different items will be available. The majority of the sale items will be located in the warehouse, just past where the milk displayed. "We'll also have pallets of items wherever we can find space in the store," said Ms. Gilbert. Many items will be available in club packs. "For example, instead of a case of 24 cans of green beans, there will be packages of six cans," said Ms. Gilbert. "That way our customers can mix and match to fit their needs." Normal store hours are: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday.
